Mefeedia.com continues to grow – we broke into the “Quantcast 1,000″ yesterday, now at #957. Glad everyone is enjoying our service! Look for some big improvements in the following weeks…
A big THANK YOU to our wonderful users who made this possible! Using Quantcast data, an analysis of the top 2,500 sites, narrowed down the JUST the video sites, showed Mefeedia.com is now at #18.

May numbers have come in – and we are excited that we reached 5 million unique users for the month of May (source: Google Analytics).
Generate is the latest online video studio to receive funding – a $6M Series A round – another in a list of original online video studios. Generate already has a number of series under its belt, including “Pink” The Series.
These studios are producing new web content at a very rapid rate, leveraging the web and its easy and quick distribution mechanisms to reach large audiences (including here at Mefeedia.com).
December 2007 – an inflection point for online video. According to comScore, there were more video streams than searches for that month. Here are the numbers:

Don Reisinger posted a CES 2008 roundup over at Newteevee recently. His overall grades were mostly in the C and D range. Why is this? In a year where online video is extremely relevant, particularly since many of the major announcements concerned getting TV onto the web or online video onto TV, why weren’t there more announcements that were truly “revolutionary”? Many thoughts and theories come to mind – but rather then speculate, here is what Mefeedia would like to happen by next year’s CES:
YouTube has dominated the online video scene in 2007 – the numbers just don’t lie. Even though there has been a huge expansion of YouTube audience, there is also a growing amount of dissension within the YouTube community versus YouTube itself.
Over the past few months, we have been closely watching some of the most viewed videos coming out of YouTube – and there have been quite a large number of YouTube community members sending in videos explaining how unhappy they are – here is a sampling from the Most Viewed Videos Daily feed from YouTube:
